This competition seeks to find young talented musicians and to help them explore to the world.
The committee hopes to contribute to our music culture as well as to encourage young musicians.
This project is designed based on the musical policy of the famed violinist Toshiya Eto who lives in
Kodaira. |

The first eliminations round;

The result of screening by Mini Disk will be mailed to all applicants .Further information will be advised
only to the semifinalists.
*Just send in your Mini Disk and participate. It's easy especially for applicants living outside of Tokyo, or
overseas.Please be encouraged !
The semifinals;
\Stage performance(open to public)|
The order of performance will be decided by a random drawing by the committee.The pianist will be
arranged by the committee. The contestant may bring his/her own pianist to play with on the stage on
his/her expense.There will be a rehearsal on the stage the preceding day of the semifinals.
The contestant is responsible for all expenses (hotel, transportation and others).
500 yen will be charged at the entrance for watching the semifinals.
The finals;

The order of performance will be drawn by the contestants. Symphony orchestra will accompany
each contestant. There will be a rehearsal with symphony orchestra on the stage the preceding day
of the semifinals.

Please bring in or register-mail the following 1.2.3. during the undermentioned registration period.

3.The recorded Mini Disk of assigned music pieces for Screening by Mini Disk.@
*Please use Mini Disk and write your name clearly.
*The music recorded must be played by no one else but the applicant.
*Studio recording is not required, although a good sound quality is suggested. |

1. Junior Artist Contestant: 10,000 yen per person
2. Young Artist Contestant: 20,000 yen per person
Application fee must be payed when you register.
Application fee is not refundable.

From June 24, 2004 to July 5, 2004
Registered-mail must be dated on or befor July 5, 2004.
Registered-mail from overseas should be arrived the committee on or befor July5, 2004. |

The first place, second place and third place winner will be chosed at the finals.
Winners will be awarded the following prizes.
All finalists will be given certificates.
